Historical/Heraldic/MasonicSir Lewis Robessart 1390-1431One of King Henry V's favourite Knights, Sir Lewis was by birth a native of France and became a naturalised Englishman in 1417. In 1421 he was made a knight of the Garter and in 1425 summoned to parliament. Killed in action against the French at Amiens. He was buried in Westminster Abbey.
