Historical/Heraldic/MasonicSir Walter Blount 1420-1474Treasurer of Calais, then an English possession, in 1460, Sir Walter was made Knight of the Bath at the Coronation of King Edward IV in 1461 and Knight of the Garter ten years later. After serving as Treasurer of England he was made Lord Mountjoy in 1465 and was to have held high command in a projected expedition against France.
