Glass-Fibre Flagstaffs
Our Made in England glass-fibre flagstaffs are supported by over 20 years manufacturing experience and design. Considered to be the most popular and versatile in production. Never need painting.
Poles are made from high strength pigment resin which ensures maintenance free attention apart from the occasional wash with warm soapy water. The standard colour finish is white though other colours are available on request.
A comprehensive range of poles are supplied complete with traditional truck head capping or gold colour glode finial top, pulley wheel, halyard rope and cleat with ground mounting, roof or wall brackets, ready for installation.
Types of Mounting
Ground sleeve - upright glass-fibre sleeve for grassed area, buried to ground level in which pole is then mounted. Does not require concrete foundation and can be easily removed to mow the lawn.
Ground tabernacles - pole only supplied, reinforced in lower 3ft and then drilled for fixing to existing upright supports.
Steel base plate - easy to erect in concrete. Ideal for ground or roof mounting.
Hinged base plate - designed for any height of flagpole. Can be lowered with minimum effort.
Vertical wall mounted poles - galvanised wall brackets included. Made to any given measurement of 'stand-off' from the wall.
Angled wall brackets - any desired angle made to order with rigid support bars or steel guy line wires.
Reinforced or heavy duty poles are recommended for churches and other high buildings. An installation service is provided if required.
The size of flag to be used depends mainly upon the height at which it is being flown. The greater the height, the bigger the flag.
